I NEED TO KNOW, FOR SURE, if there is a way in Resolve 15 (currently running) or 16 (I’ve heard good things) to essentially pair/stitch/compile my Pro Res video files (no audio) with my audio track the way I always used to be able to do back in my FCP6/7+Compressor days-I still use that method for static song videos with album artwork on Youtube. I work with hi-grain S16 film footage (uploading Pro Res is the only way to retain any running grain) and am a music producer so I can hear things most people can’t in audio re-bouncing/re-rendering (loss of transients, etc). The goal is to let Vimeo and Youtube do the audio conversion (just once). I’m trying to figure out the best way to export a Pro Res (4444, HQ, etc) master file of my project with assurances that I am not re-encoding the audio track? The project is a music video and contains only one 24/44.1 audio file. ![]()
